Cleft of the Rock Church - Connect Wall

As Cleft of the Rock Church prepared to open its new building, the leadership envisioned a space that would instantly communicate warmth, belonging, and purpose to every guest who walked through the doors. I had the honor of designing the Connect Center — a visual centerpiece that welcomes people into that vision.

The concept, “Imperfect People. God’s Perfect Purpose,” became the heartbeat of the wall design. Layered typography and vibrant gold tones reflect energy, grace, and community. Every detail — from the clean layout to the modern finish — was created to reflect the church’s commitment to excellence and authenticity.

Solution:

By blending message and design, this wall turns a simple welcome area into a living expression of the church’s identity — a reminder that connection starts with belonging.

Outcome:

The Connect Center now serves as both a physical and spiritual touchpoint, greeting every visitor with a message that’s bold, genuine, and rooted in purpose.

Cleft of the Rock Church - Mission Wall

As the new building took shape, the leadership wanted the mission of the church to be more than text on a page — they wanted it to live within the walls. I had the privilege of designing a space that does exactly that.

The Mission Wall transforms foundational statements of faith into a visual narrative. Centered around “By living and sharing the Gospel…”, the design integrates the church’s three core pillars — Evangelism, Ministry, and Fellowship — using strong typography, layered layouts, and the signature black, white, and gold color palette.

Solution:

By visually structuring the church’s mission and values, this wall brings unity and identity to the new space, connecting every message back to the foundation — He Alone Is Our Rock.

Outcome:

The Mission Wall stands as a visual declaration of the church’s purpose, inspiring every visitor and member to live out the mission daily — to be, do, and make better for the glory of God.

When the University of Texas at San Antonio introduced its first-ever football program, it marked a defining moment in the university’s history. I had the honor of contributing to that moment by designing the visual foundation that would carry UTSA from its inaugural kickoff to a recognized brand in collegiate athletics.

As part of the university’s early creative efforts, I developed the inaugural football logo and led the design of season ticket collections for seven consecutive years. Each year’s ticket series captured the evolving identity of the team — bold, dynamic, and rooted in Roadrunner pride.

Solution:

My work extended beyond the tickets themselves. I designed the full fan experience:

  • Football Brochures highlighting Alamodome seating, Skyline Lounge access, and box accommodations to elevate the game-day experience.

  • Game-Day Booklets with vendor listings, parking maps, and stadium guidelines, offering fans everything they needed to navigate the excitement of game day.

  • Athletics Department Brochures promoting multi-sport ticket packages and engaging fans across basketball, baseball, volleyball, and other UTSA athletic programs.

Every design reflected the same commitment — to unify the UTSA brand, communicate excellence, and create visual energy that matched the university’s ambition.

Outcome:

The UTSA Athletics brand quickly became one of the most visible in San Antonio. Fans recognized the look, feel, and excitement of UTSA events through cohesive branding that tied together every sport and every season.

These materials didn’t just inform — they inspired. From collectible tickets to high-impact brochures, each piece helped transform UTSA Athletics into a citywide experience, laying the groundwork for lasting school pride and community connection.

What if I already have a logo?

No problem! If you already have a logo, we’ll refine your brand guidelines, update your visuals, and make sure your social and print materials are consistent. Your package can be adjusted to focus on strengthening your brand assets.

Do you offer ongoing support or updates after delivery?

Yes! Many clients start with a package and then ask us to manage updates, new campaigns, or seasonal promotions. We offer ongoing support plans for social media, design refreshes, or additional training.

Do you print the flyers, brochures, and business cards too?

We provide print-ready designs you can send to your preferred printer. If you don’t have one, we’ll connect you with affordable printing options so you can get your materials delivered without hassle.

How do payments work?

A 50% deposit secures your package, and the remaining balance is due upon delivery. Larger projects may be split into milestones. We’ll walk you through the process so it’s clear and simple.

What if I need more than what’s in the package?

Each package comes with the essentials, but you can always add extras like additional social templates, a multi-page website, or more training materials. We’ll create a custom add-on that fits your needs and budget.

What if I don’t know what I want my brand to look like?

That’s where we come in. We’ll guide you through a brand discovery exercise and moodboard process so you can see different styles and pick what feels right for your business.
